Job summary

TalentTrade is seeking a Technical Presales Consultant in Bracknell, Berkshire to shape data centre solutions, win customer confidence and take ownership of delivery from initial discussions through to handover.

This role is roughly 50/50 between technical pre-sales and project delivery, with hybrid working and UK travel. You will work with an established team and report directly to the COO.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable technical pre-sales experience.
• Strong practical knowledge of physical IT infrastructure in live data centre environments.
• Experience independently managing technical infrastructure projects.
• Background with IT infrastructure services providers or systems integrators.
• Experience translating requirements into commercially viable proposals and project plans.

Responsibilities

• Work with the sales team to understand customer requirements and develop technical solutions.
• Develop accurate estimates, scopes of work and technical proposals to support bids.
• Manage infrastructure projects from planning through completion, including budgets, resources and schedules.
• Coordinate engineers, suppliers and subcontractors for installations, relocations and decommissioning.
• Identify technical and operational risks early, maintaining clear customer communication.
• Share pre-sales knowledge to support colleague development.
