Job summary

Alfa is seeking a Technical Administrator on a 12-month fixed-term contract in London to provide comprehensive technical administrative support to the Technical Operations team. The role includes coordinating stock, procurement, and assisting with budget tracking and management.

You will manage IT assets, oversee equipment logistics, supplier interactions, and help maintain documentation while supporting budgeting activities. This position offers hybrid work options with travel possibly required.

Qualifications

• Microsoft Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Procurement of technical equipment and software as requested by the Technical Operations team.
• Manage, coordinate and improve the goods inwards process.
• Maintain IT consumables stock and replenishment.
• Handle delivery or invoice queries with suppliers.
• Attend supplier review meetings.
• Maintain desk equipment and SME installation work (may involve some overseas travel).
• Maintain desk equipment inventory.
• Provide laptops across the company.
• Maintain the lifecycle, recycling and disposal of IT assets.
• Maintain and update the asset register.
• Manage Tech Operations documentation.
• Assist the head of Technical Operations in preparing and ongoing management of the operational budget.
