This hybrid role combines hands-on coding with people leadership, mentoring engineers, collaborating with Product and stakeholders, and fostering high engineering standards while delivering against estimates.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Team Lead, Senior Engineer or Engineering Lead.
• Strong Java and Spring Boot development experience.
• Experience delivering software within Agile environments.
• Ability to influence technical decisions and mentor engineers.
• Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical teams.
• A passion for building quality software and improving engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across software engineering teams.
• Guide software design, architecture and engineering best practice.
• Support delivery planning, prioritisation and risk management.
• Mentor engineers through feedback, coaching and development.
• Collaborate with Product and stakeholders to deliver business objectives.
• Drive improvements across engineering processes, quality and delivery.
