Job summary

Ibstock Plc is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to deliver a high-quality recruitment service across the business in the UK. You will manage vacancies from brief through to offer, focusing on direct sourcing, candidate experience and collaboration with the People team.

The role includes building talent pipelines and supporting attraction initiatives. The position involves partnering with hiring managers, advertising roles, screening candidates and guiding interview processes

Qualifications

• Strong end-to-end recruitment experience.
• Experience of directly sourcing candidates.
• Track record of attracting candidates for specialist or hard-to-fill roles.
• Ability to build credible relationships and adapt communication for different audiences.
• Excellent organisation and ability to manage multiple vacancies.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned portfolio of vacancies from recruitment brief through to offer, providing a responsive and professional service.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand requirements, constructively challenge briefs and agree effective recruitment approaches.
• Directly source candidates through relevant channels, networks, databases and social media, building pipelines for recurring and hard-to-fill roles.
• Create engaging adverts, screen candidates and provide high-quality shortlists to support effective selection decisions.
• Guide hiring managers on interview approaches and selection tools, promoting consistent, fair and inclusive recruitment.
• Keep candidates informed throughout the process, coordinating offers and outcomes in a timely and professional way.
• Maintain accurate recruitment records, follow agreed processes and support effective use of approved recruitment agencies.
• Share market intelligence and recruitment data, and contribute to attraction projects, tools and continuous improvement.
