Yorkshire Water is recruiting a Supply Chain Coordinator to join the Supply Chain and Logistics team. You will purchase materials and services for Maintenance and Asset Management, coordinate consignments, and track deliveries to ensure orders reach sites on time.

You will help drive best value through sound financial awareness and adherence to policies, with hybrid work and ongoing development opportunities as part of a progressive plan.

Qualifikationen

• Experience of purchasing, supply chain coordination or a related administrative role.
• Knowledge of stock management systems and SAP.
• Confidence using Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Good financial awareness when making day-to-day decisions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to build relationships with internal colleagues and external suppliers.
• Negotiation skills and initiative.

Aufgaben

• Review purchase requisitions and ensure compliance with supply chain policies.
• Raise and manage purchase orders.
• Coordinate consignments and maintenance packs for delivery to sites.
• Track orders from origin to destination.
• Monitor supplier delivery schedules and statuses.
• Update weekly/monthly stock and expenditure reports.
• Support purchases through Ariba system and ensure best value.
