Job summary

Wallace Hind Selection seeks a Strategic National Account Manager – Contract Electronics to lead a 3-person Account Management team and drive a £20m national account. This is a client-facing, leadership role split between office and client meetings, with a focus on commercial performance within the UK defence sector.

You will coach and mentor, align cross-functional teams, and report forecasts and budgets to the MD, ensuring strategic relationships are nurtured and delivery targets met.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team of Account Managers and coaching staff.
• Proven track record managing multi-million pound accounts in a contract electronics context.
• Strong ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, operations and quality teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and inspire a team of 3 Account Managers to drive client satisfaction.
• Oversee a major account worth ~£20m across UK sites at senior stakeholder level.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations and quality to deliver world-class outcomes.
• Report forecasts, budgets and performance to the Managing Director.
