Job summary

ECS Resource Group is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to design network infrastructure and support customers through the sales lifecycle. The role is hybrid, with ~2 days/month in the Solihull office, and requires strong WAN/LAN, Wi‑Fi, and security expertise.

You will lead technical discussions, create SOWs and HLDs, and work with Sales, Account Management and Service Delivery to build a robust sales pipeline and ensure successful solution delivery.

Qualifications

• Design LAN and WAN solutions aligned to customer requirements.
• Lead technical discussions and solution reviews with stakeholders.
• Produce SOWs, HLDs and network schematics.
• Support new business opportunities, renewals and existing relationships.
• Understand CAPWAP, WPA, 802.1X, mesh and wireless controllers.

Responsibilities

• Design tailored LAN and WAN solutions aligned to customer requirements.
• Collaborate with Sales and Account Management to develop technical propositions.
• Lead technical discussions, customer meetings and solution reviews, translating complex concepts into business value.
• Produce high-quality documentation: SOWs, HLDs and network schematics.
• Support Service Delivery, Sales and Account Management with opportunities and renewals.
• Ensure solutions are robust, viable and deliver long-term value.
• Maintain accurate CRM activity and opportunity information.
