Job summary

MBDA UK Ltd is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Stevenage to design and develop test equipment software for advanced missile systems. You will work in a hybrid model with on-site work common due to workload, and you may participate in BPSS security checks after the offer stage.

Qualifications

Previous software engineering experience in the development of test solutions.
Strong ability to write software in C / C++; scripting languages would be an advantage.
Experience in an agile development team.
Understanding of high quality software and quality practices.
Knowledge of automation, CI and DevOps principles.
Knowledge of electronics measurement and debug techniques with lab equipment.

Responsibilities

Design and develop test equipment software to test world-leading missile systems and sub-components.
Collaborate in a team to deliver system-level test solutions.
Support and maintain test software through its lifecycle.
