Job summary

Experis IT in the United Kingdom is seeking a Service Designer for a 3-month initial contract with potential extension. The role is hybrid, based in Telford/Worthing, with two days per week onsite.

You will collaborate with researchers, designers and developers to deliver user-centred services across government departments, creating deliverables like personas and journey maps, and advocating design-led transformation.

Qualifications

• Experience creating personas, experience maps, insights packs, user flows, and service blueprints.
• Ability to thrive in highly complex service areas.
• Ability to establish and communicate design solutions that fulfil user needs and business objectives.
• Experience visualising whole, end-to-end services across multiple business areas and government departments.
• Collaborate effectively and build strong working relationships in a proactive team.
• User-centred design mindset, share best practices, coach teammates.
• Think differently, bring a new perspective to problems, open to new ideas.
• Communicate complex design concepts and advocate user-centred design.
• Knowledge of CESA (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with researchers, designers and developers to produce outstanding digital services.
• Deliver user-centred services that improve efficiency, speed and usability.
• Lead design across multiple government departments and business areas.
• Communicate design proposals and outcomes to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Promote design-led transformation and best practices across the account.
• Develop value propositions for existing and new clients.
