Job summary

Simmons & Simmons is seeking a HR Systems Analyst to join the HR team in London or Bristol. This hands-on role manages Workday configuration, maintenance and reporting to support the HR systems roadmap.

You will work closely with HR and IT to ensure data integrity, deliver improvements, and optimise integrations with systems like Elite 3E. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in HR systems, strong analytics and a customer‑focused mindset.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience administering and supporting HR systems (Workday preferred).
• Strong technical systems knowledge, ideally Workday.
• Deep understanding of HR processes and translating requirements into system solutions.
• Experience with HR systems optimisation and enhancements.
• Strong technical skills.
• Workday HCM certification desirable.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day maintenance and configuration of the HR system (Workday).
• Provide expert troubleshooting and guidance; manage Workday integrations including Elite 3E.
• Support biannual Workday releases; coordinate testing and stakeholder communications.
• Contribute to HR systems roadmap; drive process simplification, data quality and automation.
• Advise HR and business stakeholders on system capabilities and best practices.
• Develop and maintain HR reports and dashboards.
• Use Workday Community to stay updated on features and best practices.
