Job summary

Adler & Allan Ltd is seeking a Quantity Surveyor/Commercial Manager to oversee projects from inception to completion in a hybrid UK role. You will act as the client’s main contact, lead meetings, and ensure NEC contract governance for infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities include estimating, cost planning, procurement advice, contract administration, cost reporting, and final accounts. You will travel to sites as needed and liaise daily with clients and contractors.

Qualifications

• NEC3/4 knowledge required.
• Strong cost management and reporting skills.
• Experience in Water or utilities sectors preferred.
• Working towards MRICS or MCICES qualification.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from inception to completion.
• Be the focal point for clients and manage meetings.
• Oversee infrastructure projects using NEC contracts.
• Provide estimating and cost planning input.
• Offer procurement advice and manage contracts.
• Handle cost reporting and final accounts.
• Attend meetings and visit sites as required.
• Daily liaison with clients and contractors to ensure timely information.
• Perform other quantity surveying and commercial duties.
