Job summary

Adler & Allan in Ivybridge is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to manage commercial requirements across multiple projects within the planned commercial team. The role emphasizes accurate CVRs, risk management, and early warnings to maximise value.

Ideal candidates will have NEC 3/4 experience, a minimum of five years in this position, and a background in utilities, civils, or water. The company offers competitive salary and benefits in a family-owned environment.

Qualifications

• NEC 3 and 4 experience required.
• Experience negotiating and handling contractual matters.
• Ability to manage multiple projects across various stages.
• Minimum 5 years in a Senior Quantity Surveyor role.
• Experience across utilities, civils or water sectors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly CVRs with attention to detail.
• Identify margin erosion early and forecast accordingly.
• Manage risk with delivery team and protect cash flow.
• Ensure subcontracts are signed before works start on site.
• chased late payment certificates and debtors to maintain cash flow.
• Prepare final accounts and takeover accounts for timely closure.
