Job summary

Adler & Allan is seeking aSenior Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial team of surveyors. The role is primarily home-based with travel to Aqua Consultants’ offices or client sites across the North and Midlands of England.

You will liaise with clients and contractors daily to drive effective project delivery. Key duties include assisting with cost management, estimating, procurement advice, and contract administration on infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• NEC3/4 knowledge and experience in contract administration.
• Experience in project cost management and cost reporting.
• Water industry or utilities sector exposure preferred.
• Working towards MRICS or MCICES designation.

Responsibilities

• Assist Senior QS in managing projects from inception to completion.
• Be the client focal point and lead meetings with confidence.
• Manage infrastructure projects using NEC contracts where applicable.
• Prepare estimates, cost plans and procurement advice.
• Provide contract administration and cost control across multiple projects.
• Prepare final accounts and cost reporting, attend site visits and meetings.
