Job summary

Adler & Allan in the United Kingdom is seeking a Quantity Surveyor/Commercial Manager to lead infrastructure projects from inception to final account. You will be the client focal point, drive NEC-based contracts, oversee cost planning, procurement, and reporting.

The role requires MRICS/MCICES progression, water utilities experience, and strong liaison with clients and contractors. A hybrid working pattern, competitive package, and benefits including pension, life assurance, and salary

Qualifications

• NEC3/4 working knowledge.
• Project cost management skills.
• Water Industry or wider utilities experience.
• Working towards MRICS / MCICES.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for projects from inception to completion.
• Be the focal point of contact for the client and inspire confidence for with clients.
• Manage infrastructure projects ideally using the NEC form of contract.
• Estimating and cost planning.
• Procurement advice.
• Contract administration and cost control.
• Cost reporting.
• Final account preparation.
• Attend meetings and undertake site visits.
• Liaising with Clients and Contractors on a daily basis to ensure the timely communication and collation of information.
