Job summary

Aldwych Consulting Ltd is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor for major infrastructure and civil engineering projects across the UK. The role is permanent and based on-site with three days per week on site, across locations including Peterborough, Woking, Weybridge and Essex.

You will bring NEC contract experience, strong cost control and commercial know-how, working within a supportive commercial team to deliver successful outcomes on significant projects.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Quantity Surveyor in contractor or contractor-side consultancy.
• Experience working with NEC contracts.
• Experience in infrastructure, highways, civil engineering or major construction projects.
• Strong commercial and contractual knowledge.
• Experience managing costs, forecasting, valuations, change and final accounts.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Stable employment history and interest in a long-term career.
• Full unrestricted right to work in the UK (no sponsorship).

Responsibilities

• Manage costs, forecasts, valuations, change and final accounts on major projects.
• Collaborate with commercial team to maximise value and minimise risk.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and internal stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Support NEC contract administration and change control processes.
