Job summary

Willmott Dixon in Birmingham seeks a Senior Proposals Manager to lead our Midlands proposals team. Hybrid role blending office collaboration with remote work, focusing on winning bids across Education, Leisure, Commercial, Healthcare and Defence sectors.

You will coordinate preconstruction, bid managers and subject matter experts, shaping strategies, crafting compelling content and presenting proposals to clients when required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in proposals or bid management within construction.
• Ability to lead multiple teams and coordinate complex bids.
• Experience developing win strategies for private-sector or developer clients.

Responsibilities

• Oversee proposals process from start to submission, assembling required contributors.
• Produce high-quality, timely, and budget-conscious submissions.
• Coordinate input from bid team and subject matter experts.
• Identify and implement win strategies and schedule requirements.
• Lead review sessions and ensure accurate tender documentation.
• Contribute creative ideas and lessons learned to future bids.
• Prepare customer presentations with a customer-focused approach.
• Support team members and monitor progress.
