Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex building projects in the UK, based in Southampton or Basingstoke. The role offers hybrid work options and opportunities to deliver high-impact infrastructure across the region while supporting national projects.

You will manage multi-disciplinary teams, ensure governance and regulatory compliance, and mentor other project managers to maximise potential within a collaborative, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Pre and post contract design /project management expertise over the RIBA lifecycle
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• JCT &/or NEC Contract Administration (Accreditation a positive)
• Maintain accurate project records (both paper and electronic)
• Robust Stakeholder Management process

Responsibilities

• Manages one or more very complex projects, involving a combination of the following: Clients with a national geographic footprint; or Projects involving a full spectrum of services offered by IE; or, other complexities, such as projects that involve litigation, environmental protection, due diligence, etc.
• Manages all phases of projects (from beginning to close out).
• Has consenting and regulatory authority for approvals.
• Manages other Project Managers.
