Job summary

AECOM is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex design and construction schemes for buildings and infrastructure. The role is based in Manchester or Leeds with a strong emphasis on multic-disciplinary delivery and client relationships.

You will manage projects from concept to handover, coordinating with design teams, procurement, and construction while applying NEC contract knowledge and driving responsible risk management. Hybrid work options available.

Qualifications

• Evidence of delivering complex, multi-discipline buildings and infrastructure projects from concept to handover.
• Experience with NEC contracts, ideally PSC and ECC.
• Ability to work in a high-performing, integrated team across organisations.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Strong industry network and client relationship capabilities.
• Work autonomously when needed and collaborate with Senior PMs and Associates.

Responsibilities

• Deliver complex multidisciplinary design and construction projects through all lifecycle stages.
• Maintain regular communication with clients, design teams, procurement and planning for coordination.
• Provide contract administration across NEC contracts and manage risks and obligations.
• Manage scope changes through formal change control, tracking progress, cost and quality.
• Support business development and identify opportunities to grow the business.
