Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex building projects in the Southampton/Basingstoke region. You will manage all phases from inception to closeout, coordinating clients, consultants and contractors to deliver high-profile projects.

Hybrid work is supported, with a focus on collaboration, professional development through training and mentoring, and a track record of successful project delivery across regional and national AECOM projects.

Qualifications

• Pre and post contract design/PM expertise across the RIBA lifecycle.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• JCT and/or NEC Contract Administration ( accreditation a positive).
• Maintain accurate project records (paper and electronic).
• Robust Stakeholder Management process.

Responsibilities

• Manages one or more very complex projects with national footprint or full spectrum of IE services.
• Manages all phases of projects (from beginning to close out).
• Has consenting and regulatory authority for approvals.
• Manages other Project Managers.

Excellent communication

Contract administration (JCT/NEC)

Record keeping

Stakeholder management

Education

Master’s degree in Project Management/Construction/Engineering/Quantity Surveying

Chartered status with RICS/CIOB/RIBA/ICE

APM affiliation preferred

PRINCE2/MSP experience desirable
