Job summary

AECOM is seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join the Basingstoke team. You will lead (or contribute to the leadership of) the delivery of development projects, providing technical and project management expertise while supporting growth across the business.

You will coordinate with ground, structural, mechanical, electrical engineers and other specialists across the UK and overseas, delivering high-quality infrastructure for diverse sectors. Hybrid work options available.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in UK development-led infrastructure engineering and use of industry-standard software.
• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Approaching Incorporated or Chartered status with a recognised Institution.
• Strong capability in design of highways, access roads and project infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Provide commercial and technical leadership to teams of engineers and technicians, programming workloads and delivering projects to time, budget, and quality.
• Lead, review, and approve civil engineering infrastructure designs and specifications for complex developments.
• Undertake project management across a portfolio of schemes.
• Support business development activities and secure new work within property and development sectors.
• Coordinate with cross-disciplinary engineers and specialists across the UK and global offices.
