Job summary

The Insolvency Service is hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer to help drive the transition to an in‑house DevOps capability. You will standardise the tech estate, improve engineering practices, and build secure, resilient Azure platforms to support key public services.

This is a hybrid role with 60% office time across a UK footprint. You will lead initiatives across Azure, IaC, CI/CD and platform engineering while ensuring security, stability and availability in production and non‑production

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in an in‑house DevOps role using Microsoft Azure.
• Strong background in CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
• Experience building secure, resilient cloud platforms at scale.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across Microsoft Azure.
• Build, maintain and optimise IaC and CI/CD pipelines.
• Improve monitoring, observability and operational performance.
