Job summary

Appvia Ltd. in London is seeking an Azure Senior Platform Engineer to guide customers on cloud and DevOps maturity.

You will architect, implement, and optimise cloud-native solutions, leading CI/CD initiatives and IaC strategies with Terraform/Ansible, while mentoring junior engineers. Hybrid role with SC clearance eligibility, collaborating across cross-functional teams, engaging clients, and delivering secure, scalable platforms using Azure and other major clouds.

Qualifications

• Certification in relevant cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) at an associate level is highly desirable, e.g.: Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
• Certification in Kubernetes administration is desirable: CK A, CKSS

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to assess current infrastructure and develop tailored cloud and DevOps strategies.
• Design and implement scalable, resilient cloud-native solutions using industry best practices.
• Lead CI/CD pipelines, automation, and IaC to streamline development and deployment.
• Provide mentorship to junior team members and drive continuous learning.
• Engage stakeholders to align initiatives with business objectives and SOWs.
