Job summary

Randstad Technologies Recruitment seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer in Cardiff to join an enterprise-scale cloud services provider. The role blends hands-on cloud engineering with leadership responsibilities.

You'll work across Azure and AWS, embrace IaC with Terraform, and mentor junior engineers within a 50/50 hybrid model, with a clear path for certification growth and a competitive pension.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of DevOps experience in cloud environments.
• Experience with Azure or AWS at enterprise scale.
• Proven track record mentoring teams and leading initiatives.
• Strong IaC implementation using Terraform and related tools.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines and GitLab-based workflows.
• Solid understanding of cloud networking, DNS and secure VPN configurations.
• Eligible for UK Security Clearance (SC) within 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor junior DevOps engineers.
• Own delivery and technical leadership for DevOps initiatives.
• Drive multi-cloud infrastructure using IaC (Terraform).
• Collaborate with teams on delivery and operations, including AI/GenAI related projects.
