Job summary

Public Services Delivery Scotland is seeking a Data & Analytics Senior Technician to support high-quality BI and data solutions across the organisation. You will help design, develop and optimise data pipelines, warehousing, and reporting within an agile and DevOps environment, translating requirements into scalable data solutions.

You will collaborate with analysts, developers and stakeholders to support routine services and cross-functional digital delivery, while driving data quality,

Qualifications

• Experience in developing and implementing data and BI solutions, including data pipelines and data warehousing.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Ability to analyse complex requirements and develop effective, innovative solutions to technical challenges.
• Experience working in data and digital delivery environments with agile or DevOps, delivering to timescales and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and optimise data pipelines and data warehousing solutions.
• Create and enhance business intelligence reporting tools for decision making.
• Collaborate with analysts, developers and stakeholders to deliver data solutions.
• Support BaU services and wider digital delivery initiatives within agile/DevOps environments.
