Job summary

Public Services Delivery Scotland (PSD Scotland) seeks a Senior Technical Consultant to lead enterprise data and analytics platforms from the Seer Technology Office. You will collaborate with analysts, developers and service teams to design, implement and optimise data solutions across a modern cloud stack.

Based in Glasgow or Edinburgh, this hybrid role involves shaping technical strategy, delivering complex BI projects and mentoring other technical staff.

Qualifications

• Strong technical leadership across modern data platforms and cloud architectures.
• Experience with AWS, Snowflake, Denodo, Tableau, Power BI or similar.
• Proven delivery of large-scale enterprise data and analytics solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert technical leadership across enterprise data platforms.
• Manage platform environments, including configuration, upgrades, security models and performance.
• Support service improvement, operational stability and platform evolution.
• Contribute to technical strategy and roadmap planning, evaluating emerging technologies.
• Lead the design, development and implementation of complex data, integration and BI solutions.
• Mentor and develop other technical staff within the team.
