Job summary

PSD Scotland seeks a Data & Analytics Technician to join our Data & Analytics function, supporting national digital and data services across NHS Scotland and the wider public sector.

The postholder will help design, build and support data pipelines, data warehousing and analytics outputs, translating requirements into robust technical solutions while collaborating with technical specialists, analysts and service delivery colleagues.

Qualifications

• Practical experience or training in developing BI or data solutions.
• Demonstrable SQL skills, and exposure to Python.
• Understanding of data warehousing and data lakehouse concepts and data pipeline development.
• Ability to interpret technical requirements and contribute to innovative data and analytical solutions.
• Experience delivering work to agreed plans, timescales and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and support data pipelines, data warehousing and analytics outputs.

• Contribute to enterprise BI platforms and the delivery of projects to agreed timelines and quality standards.
