Job summary

PSD Scotland in Glasgow/Edinburgh is seeking a Data & Analytics Senior Technician to drive design, development and optimisation of data pipelines, warehousing and BI reporting to support informed decision making across the organisation.

You will work in a multidisciplinary team, translating requirements into scalable data solutions, collaborating with analysts and developers, and contributing to both routine services and wider digital delivery within an agile/DevOps context.

Qualifications

• Experience developing and implementing data and BI solutions, including design and build of data pipelines and data warehousing.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Ability to analyse complex requirements and develop innovative data solutions.
• Experience working in data and digital delivery environments with Agile or DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and optimise data pipelines, data warehousing and BI reporting tools.
• Translate technical requirements into scalable data solutions and ensure data is processed and presented effectively.
• Collaborate with analysts, developers and stakeholders to support BaU and digital delivery initiatives.
• Support continuous improvement of data services, including quality, governance and reliability.
