Job summary

Gallagher Re is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join our growing data and analytics team in London. You will collaborate with underwriting, operations, claims and finance to deliver actionable insights that drive performance and strategic decision-making.

You will work with Bordereaux and Delegated Authority data, transform complex data into meaningful analysis, and develop reporting solutions that improve efficiency and outcomes. Hybrid working with London City office twice a week is expected.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Data Analyst in (Re)Insurance.
• Knowledge of Bordereaux and Delegated Authority data.
• Advanced SQL skills with ability to write, troubleshoot and optimise queries.
• Experience developing reports and dashboards using Power BI.
• Experience with Azure Data Lake and cloud-based data environments.
• Experience in London Market insurance environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and interpret large, complex datasets to provide insights and recommendations.
• Work with Delegated Authority and Bordereaux data ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualisations using Power BI.
• Write and optimise complex SQL queries to extract data from multiple sources.
• Support development of data models, reporting frameworks, and analytical solutions.
• Collaborate with underwriting, actuarial, finance and operations to deliver data-driven solutions.
• Work with Azure-based data platforms to support modern data architecture.
• Identify data quality issues and implement controls to enhance integrity.
• Provide SME on (Re)Insurance data structures and reporting requirements.
