Job summary

Gallagher Re in London invites you to join the Global Strategic Advisory (GSA) team. You’ll work on data-driven insights to help clients in reinsurance make informed decisions in a fast-paced, global market.

Qualifications

• Experience in a strategic, analytical, or research-focused role.
• Progress toward CFA/ACII/actuarial credentials.
• Familiarity with AlphaSense, S&P Capital IQ, or Bloomberg.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Organised with attention to detail and deadlines.
• Curious, proactive, and eager to grow in reinsurance.

About You

• Proven experience in a strategic, analytical, or research-focused role.
• Progress towards professional credentials (e.g., CFA, ACII, actuarial qualifications).
• Familiarity with research tools like AlphaSense, S&P Capital IQ, or Bloomberg.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills - You can evaluate information, identify key issues, and draw evidence-based conclusions.
• Strong Communication skills: You can present ideas clearly, both in writing and verbally, to diverse audiences.
• Organised & Detail-Oriented: You manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines with accuracy.
• Proactive & Curious: You take initiative, seek opportunities to learn, and are eager to grow your expertise in the (re)insurance industry.
• Collaborative: You thrive in a team environment and enjoy working with others to achieve shared goals.
• An interest in business, financial markets, and the (re)insurance industry.
