Gallagher Re in London seeks a proactive actuarial professional to join the UK & Ireland Actuarial team. You will drive analytics and pricing across casualty and property lines, manage renewals, and collaborate with brokers and reinsurers to deliver optimal terms.

Qualifications

• Proven work experience in actuarial or reinsurance roles.
• Strong mathematical and analytical abilities in dynamic environments.
• Excellent communication with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and delegate tasks.

Responsibilities

• Play a key part in strategic reviews of reinsurance strategies for clients (proportional and non-proportional).
• Develop portfolio of renewals and deepen relationships with clients, brokers and reinsurers.
• Lead on pricing across casualty and property lines UK & Ireland.
• Oversee projects involving reserving and capital elements.
• Drive analytical broking discussions with reinsurers to optimize terms.
• Articulate the value in reinsurance to clients with technical and commercial insights.
• Build a network of analytical and broking contacts across the market.
• Lead or participate in RFPs for reinsurance strategies placements.
• Manage and mentor junior colleagues.
• Develop technical and innovative solutions to modelling or data issues.
