Job summary

Gallagher Re in London is seeking a Data Manager for the Actuarial team to oversee casualty data management, analytics, and reporting. You will drive data quality, governance, and insights to support underwriting, claims, and risk management strategies.

Collaborating with actuaries, underwriters and brokers, you will develop dashboards and predictive analytics, while ensuring regulatory compliance and data governance across the casualty portfolio.

Qualifications

• Proven data management experience in insurance/financial services.
• Proficiency with SQL, Python and R.
• Experience with Power BI or Tableau for data visualization.
• Strong data governance and regulatory knowledge (GDPR).
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the collection, organisation, and maintenance of casualty-related data.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and regulatory compliance.
• Analyse casualty data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Provide actionable insights to support underwriting, claims, and risk management strategies.
• Create dashboards and reports to communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Work closely with actuaries, underwriters and brokers.
• Support development of predictive models and advanced analytics initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to streamline data processes and improve efficiency.
