Job summary

Cambridgeshire County Council is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to lead analysis across digital, technology and service improvement projects. You’ll work with senior stakeholders to define current and future requirements and translate them into actionable recommendations.

This is a hybrid role with some office attendance. You’ll line-manage business analysts, promote consistent standards, and support teams to deliver measurable improvements while staying focused on user needs.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent professional experience required.
• Lean, Six Sigma or process-mapping qualification required.
• Qualification covering project and programme management essential.
• Extensive experience in business analysis in the public sector.
• Significant experience in project and programme environments.
• Strong analytical, stakeholder management, communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead business analysis for complex projects and translate findings into recommendations.
• Facilitate workshops, map current and future processes, refine requirements.
• Review benefits/costs and present findings to senior stakeholders.
• Develop programme-level analysis plans and manage risks and dependencies.
• Line manage analysts and deputise for the Programme and Delivery Manager.
