ISS UK Limited in Coventry is seeking a Hybrid Security/Portering Supervisor to oversee daily operations across Portering and Security teams at University Hospital Coventry.

You will lead on service delivery, incident response, and safety compliance, coordinating staff and resources to ensure a safe, professional environment for patients, staff and visitors.

The role requires 4 on, 4 off shifts with day and night coverage, and a commitment to continuous improvement and customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising Portering, Security, or Facilities teams.
• Experience managing staff performance and attendance.
• Experience dealing with incidents, emergencies and escalations.
• Experience completing reports and maintaining records.
• Experience working in a customer-focused environment.
• Evidence of continuing professional development.
• Supervisory qualification or equivalent practical experience.
• Understanding healthcare operational environments.
• Knowledge of health and safety legislation.
• Understanding of conflict management and security principles.
• Knowledge of incident reporting and risk management.
• Understanding equality, diversity and inclusion principles.

Responsabilités

• Provide frontline supervision to Portering and Security teams.
• Allocate staff and resources to meet operational demands.
• Supervise movement of patients, equipment and specimens.
• Coordinate responses to security incidents and emergencies.
• Maintain patrols, access control, and visitor management.
• Respond to emergencies including fires, major incidents and business continuity.
• Monitor attendance, performance and wellbeing of staff.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and training.
