Job summary

University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust is seeking a Healthcare Security Officer to help safeguard patients, staff and visitors across Leicester Royal Infirmary, Leicester General Hospital and Glenfield Hospital. You will work in 12-hour day and night shifts, across three sites, with full training provided and enhanced pay for unsociable hours.

We are looking for caring, proactive security officers who can handle difficult situations, de-escalate conflicts, and deliver high-quality customer

Responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV in hospital premises and respond to incidents as required.
• Record all security incidents accurately using computer and/or paper logs.
• Provide a visible security presence to ensure safety of patients, visitors and staff.
• Assist with de-escalation and physically restraining individuals when necessary and in line with policy.
