Qualifications

• Experience leading portering and security teams is preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to work on shift and maintain composure in a busy hospital environment.

Responsabilités

• Be responsible on a shift basis for providing effective portering and security to all wards and departments.
• Organise and direct Portering and Security staff on shift to transfer patients between wards and departments promptly and respectfully.
• Maintain high-profile security patrols of the hospital and grounds.
• Ensure hospital is secure by locking appropriate doors/windows during silent hours and unlocking as required.
• Control out-of-hours access by contractors and visitors with proper authorisation.
• Assist public and staff against violence, liaise with Police, and document incidents.
• Act as Responsible Officer during fire alarms until Fire Service arrives and assist evacuations as needed.
