Yorkshire Building Society is seeking a Software Development Engineer to join our Technology Services team, focused on Savings and Payments infrastructure. Hybrid role with some onsite Bradford presence (usually weekly) and on-call support duties.

You will develop, test, and maintain software and configurations, collaborate with architects and product owners, and contribute to an Agile delivery environment. A strong technical background in core financial services technologies is expected.

Formación

• Experience with core tech used in Savings/Payments platforms.
• Ability to transform business requirements into technical changes.
• Knowledge of regulated financial services environments a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, test, document software and configurations to standards.
• Analyse live defects and incidents to maintain systems.
• Collaborate with architects, analysts and product owners on changes.
• Participate in Agile delivery and peer code/document reviews.
• Provide out-of-hours on-call support to ensure resilience.
• Perform impact analysis and ensure scalable, secure designs.
