Job summary

Yorkshire Building Society in Bradford is seeking an IT Operations Analyst to join the Technology Services Team on a permanent, full-time basis. The role features hybrid working with time in the Bradford office and a 4-on/4-off shift pattern across 7 days with a 33.3% shift allowance.

You will monitor and support 24x7 IT operations, manage incidents in ServiceNow, run IBM Workload Scheduler batch processes, and maintain documentation while engaging with third parties to minimise disruption.

Qualifications

• Solid operational background in IT operations and monitoring
• Experience with Service Management tools such as ServiceNow
• Experience with monitoring/observability tools is preferred
• Desirable: Dynatrace, IBM Workload Scheduler, ServiceNow
• Strong customer service and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Monitor and provide first-line support for 24x7 batch scheduling and processing using IBM Workload Scheduler
• Perform alert monitoring using Dynatrace and ServiceNow Event Management
• Maintain IT operations environment to a high standard
• Manage incidents and requests via ServiceNow within SLAs
• Maintain documentation and knowledge bases
• Communicate effectively to raise awareness of problems
• Assist in IT maintenance, deployments and upgrades with minimal disruption
• Provide access control for secure areas and liaise with third parties
