Job summary

Confidential in Fareham is looking for an organised and accurate Hybrid Sales Order Administrator to join a busy team. You will process new and amended orders, keep customers updated on order status, and coordinate with different departments to ensure orders are processed accurately and efficiently.

This role uses Sage and MS Office in a fast-paced environment; you will support the Sales team by handling order data, communicating delivery dates, and ensuring stock is allocated for dispatch.

Qualifications

• Experience with sales order processing systems and procedures.
• Experience accurately processing large amounts of data.
• Knowledge of Sage systems.
• Good IT skills with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to meet deadlines with accuracy.
• Strong organisation and time-management.
• Positive, team-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Process new and amended sales orders accurately and efficiently.
• Enter and maintain sales orders using Sage.
• Ensure all orders are correct and meet business requirements.
• Keep customers informed of delivery date changes, stock issues and order progress.
• Liaise with multiple internal teams to ensure successful order processing.
• Arrange customer collections.
• Maintain live orders, ensuring information is obtained and stock allocated for despatch.
• Provide inbound telephone support to the Sales team.
• Support the department with additional administrative tasks when required.
