Newsquest's LOCALiQ is hosting a Sales Open Day in Swindon for ambitious salespeople across digital, field and telephone roles. Meet the team and explore opportunities in advertising and digital marketing solutions.

We welcome candidates from diverse sales backgrounds, with hybrid roles offering a mix of home working, Swindon hub time and regional client meetings. A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in sales, business development, account management or another commercially focused role.
• Strong communication, questioning and relationship-building skills.
• A target-driven mindset with the motivation to achieve results.
• The ability to understand a customer’s needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Resilience, self-motivation and confidence in a fast-paced sales environment.

Responsibilities

• Generating new business through proactive outbound prospecting and lead generation.
• Building strong relationships with business owners and key decision-makers.
• Understanding customers’ commercial goals and identifying the right advertising and digital solutions.
• Managing the sales process from initial conversation through to proposal and close.
• Developing and growing existing customer accounts alongside winning new business.
• Conducting sales conversations over the telephone, virtually or face-to-face.
• Working towards individual sales targets and wider team objectives.
• Maintaining an accurate and well-managed sales pipeline.
• Creating long-term customer relationships through a consultative, commercially focused approach.
• Keeping up to date with LOCALiQ’s digital advertising solutions and the wider local business market.
