Job summary

Percepta is hiring a Sales Coordinator in Basildon, UK. The role blends client-facing sales work with internal coordination across product development, purchasing, finance, and marketing.

You will manage quotes, pricing and orders while using Salesforce to track interactions and drive revenue growth. The position offers a base salary of £26,500 with OTE up to £41,000, working 37.5 hours per week in a hybrid setup with some on-site and some remote work.

Qualifications

• Previous entry-level sales experience, including outbound prospecting, achieving targets, and closing sales; B2B experience is advantageous.
• Familiarity with internal systems e.g., SAP, Salesforce; automotive parts experience is beneficial.
• A-level education or equivalent experience required.
• Strong sales, negotiation, and client relationship management skills; able to handle objections effectively.
• Excellent communication, research, analytical, organisation, and time-management skills; able to work independently or in a team.
• Proactive, IT-literate, and confident using CRM systems and Microsoft Office to support sales and administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

• Drive revenue growth through new business development and management of existing customer accounts.
• Engage with customers via phone, email, and chat; use Salesforce to track interactions, manage accounts, and produce quotations.
• Identify and qualify leads, schedule sales appointments, secure purchase orders, and coordinate order processing with internal teams.
• Collaborate with product development, purchasing, finance, sales, and marketing to ensure timely, accurate responses.
• Prepare accurate customer pricing and quotations following internal processes and approvals.
• Maintain CRM data (e.g., Salesforce) to minimise pricing, invoicing, and order errors.
