Job summary

Law Staff is seeking a detail-driven Risk and Compliance Lawyer with 2–6 years' experience to join our Hertfordshire/Essex border client. The role covers data protection, AML, regulatory compliance and risk management.

You will handle day-to-day data protection matters, respond to subject access requests, assist onboarding, perform AML/KYC checks and support risk and complaints processes in a fast-paced law firm.

Qualifications

• 2–6 years experience within a law firm.
• Law degree or equivalent.
• Attention to detail and a methodical approach.
• Willing to learn and develop within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Handling day to day data protection compliance matters.
• Managing subject access requests and supporting the response to potential data breaches.
• Supporting the firm’s onboarding processes.
• Conducting AML and KYC checks.
