Job summary

Law Staff Legal Recruitment is seeking a detail-driven Risk and Compliance Lawyer on the Hertfordshire/Essex border. The role targets 2–6 years in a similar role, focusing on data protection, AML, regulatory compliance, and risk management.

You will handle data protection matters, subject access requests, onboarding processes, AML/KYC checks, and risk/compliance queries, with hybrid working after probation and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Handling day to day data protection compliance matters
• Managing subject access requests and supporting response to potential data breaches
• Supporting the firm’s onboarding processes
• Conducting AML and KYC checks
• Assist with ongoing AML compliance in line with UK regulatory requirements
• Manage and respond to risk queries
• Supporting and drafting responses to client complaints
• File audits
