Job summary

Wirral Council is recruiting a Disabled Rehousing Coordinator to lead strategic rehousing efforts within Housing Services. You will work with the Home Adaptations & Improvement Service and PPP Manager, delivering policies and coordinated services in line with Council guidance.

The role requires experience with rehousing challenges, collaboration with registered providers, and handling a live caseload of vulnerable residents to meet their housing needs.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of rehousing challenges and responsibilities of Council & Registered Providers.
• Experience with Home Adaptations, PPP, Homelessness Prevention and Registered Provider Services.
• Willing to undergo training to update skills.
• Ability to manage a live caseload of complex clients and work with partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic development, coordination and facilitation of rehousing aspects of Adaptation Services & wider Housing Service’s delivery.
• Manage live caseload of complex clients requiring rehousing support.
• Collaborate with Home Adaptations & Improvement Service and PPP Manager and Housing Services Management Team.
