Job summary

Wirral Council is seeking a Disabled Rehousing Coordinator to join Housing Services in Mallory Building, Birkenhead. You will lead strategic development and oversee rehousing across Adaptation Services, working with PPP and partner teams to deliver high standards and responsive service.

You will manage a live caseload of vulnerable residents, build cross‑agency links, and develop policy under housing legislation and government guidance, including safeguarding requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver strategic development, co-ordination and facilitation of the rehousing aspects of Adaptation Services and the wider Housing Service's delivery in line with policies and guidance.
• Carry a live caseload of often complex clients who require rehousing to meet their needs.
• Forge links with partners and develop appropriate policy while ensuring delivery aligns with safeguarding and government guidance.
