Hertfordshire County Council is hiring a Recruitment Officer to deliver resourcing solutions and attraction strategies across multiple service areas. You will report to the Senior Recruitment Officer and drive end-to-end recruitment with strong stakeholder engagement and KPI adherence.

Based in Stevenage with hybrid working and an in-office Tuesday requirement, the role covers permanent and 18-month fixed-term posts.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in a working recruitment environment.
• Excellent IT skills with ATS and Microsoft Office.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Organisational and time management skills including KPIs.
• Meticulous attention to detail in written documentation and reporting.
• Stakeholder management across diverse backgrounds and levels.
• Experience working in a local authority.

Aufgaben

• Provide effective and proactive stakeholder support within service remit to ensure successful collaboration and recruitment outcomes.
• Advise, support and implement attraction strategies and resourcing solutions including advert writing and review.
• Act as Operational Lead for all vacancies within service remit, taking accountability for end-to-end processes in line with KPIs.
• Proactively manage workload through the ATS ensuring timely progression of system activity.
• Provide strategic input into filling vacancies, tailoring recruitment strategies to service needs.
• Promote Diversity & Inclusion practices in line with the People Strategy.
• Collaborate with the Recruitment Team and wider HR to achieve goals.
• Represent the team at career events and job fairs to promote HCC as an employer of choice.
