Job summary

Hertfordshire County Council is seeking a Recruitment Officer to deliver resourcing and attraction strategies across multiple services. Based in Stevenage with hybrid working and an in-office day each Tuesday, the role reports to the Senior Recruitment Officer within Resources.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive stakeholder support to ensure collaboration and recruitment outcomes.
• Advise and implement attraction strategies and screening.
• Lead end-to-end vacancies within service remit per KPIs.
• Manage workload via the ATS to progress system activity.
• Contribute strategic input to filling vacancies per service priorities.
• Represent Recruitment Team at career events and job fairs.
• Produce vacancy reports and recommendations for service leads.
