Job summary

Derbyshire County Council is seeking a proactive Recruitment Campaign Lead to shape how talent is attracted, engaged and recruited across the Council. Hybrid working is available, with a focus on modern, insight-led approaches and effective manager self-service.

You’ll lead campaigns from specialist and difficult-to-fill roles to senior leadership appointments and develop a capable team of Customer Service Advisors, delivering a strong candidate experience.

Qualifications

• Experience managing multiple recruitment campaigns, including difficult vacancies.
• Proven ability to source candidates proactively and build talent pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of recruitment legislation, right to work and sponsorship rules.
• Analytical mindset with ability to use data to shape campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver innovative recruitment campaigns across the Council, including senior leadership roles.
• Advise managers on attraction strategies, advertising channels and selection methods.
• Develop proactive talent attraction approaches and long-term pipelines.
• Lead the team of Customer Service Advisors and support new recruitment technology adoption.
• Use labour-market insights to influence decisions and ensure value for money.
