Job summary

The Scottish Public Pensions Agency (SPPA) is seeking a Team Manager to lead the Operational Service Delivery team in Tweedbank. You will oversee delivery across Pre-Retirements, Pension Awards, Bereavements and Post- Retirements, ensuring accurate and timely pensions for key workers.

You will manage workloads, conduct regular performance conversations, develop colleagues, and collaborate with the wider Agency Management team to drive service improvements in a hybrid working environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a multi-disciplinary team in a fast-paced public sector environment.
• Proven ability to deliver accurate, timely service to internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong communication, coaching and people-development skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver monthly one-to-one and performance reviews with line manager responsibilities.
• Plan and prioritise workloads across the team and support wider delivery.
• Support change management initiatives to deliver training and effective changes.
• Provide high-quality service to meet key objectives.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
