Job summary

Novus Property Solutions is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join our Midlands operations on a hybrid model (office/home/site) with travel to site. You will handle end-to-end cost management for social housing refurbishment projects, liaising with contract managers and subcontractors to ensure scope, costs and profitability meet project requirements.

The role requires experience in refurbishment works, preferably Social Housing, excellent communication, and strong IT skills.

Qualifications

• Experience of refurbishment projects, preferably in social housing.
• Attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence required; DBS check to be completed.
• Proficient IT skills including MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Monitor contract progress and report changes affecting costs or timelines.
• Liaise with Contract Managers to define specifications and requirements.
• Value and certify payments to sub-contractors; assist in budget control.
• Prepare cash flow forecasts and monthly payment applications.
• Produce monthly valuation reports and ensure timely payments.
• Support procurement planning and tender preparation.
