Job summary

Foresight Search Ltd is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join a regional team delivering social housing refurbishment and retrofit projects. You will manage costs, subcontract accounts and valuations across fast-paced contracts, with a focus on NHF frameworks and cost controls.

Location flexibility includes Bristol or Newport, with up to one day per week from home. The role offers progression within a growing regional business and a clear career pathway.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a regional or national main contractor.
• Experience in Social Housing retrofit projects.
• Strong understanding of Schedule of Rates.
• Commercially astute with strong subcontract management experience.
• Commutable to Bristol or Newport 4/5 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Manage subcontract accounts, valuations, variations, cost reporting and supporting estimating.
• Be responsible for accurate cost/value reconciliation, cash flow forecasting and agreeing final accounts to maximise margin.
• Work on fast-paced framework contracts, Schedule of Rates, and refurbishment projects in social housing.
• Flexible working is available with up to 1 day per week from home; projects primarily in Bristol area.
